Truck Overturns on Kapan-Tatev Highway: Driver Injured, Millions of Drams in Goods Destroyed
On October 31, a serious automobile accident occurred in Syunik Province. Armen Kh., a 48-year-old resident of the Karabakh Republic’s capital, was driving his Kamaz truck loaded with merchandise on the Kapan-Tatev highway at approximately 15:00. Unfortunately, while traveling around 42 km, he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and come to a halt about 60 meters away. To make matters worse, the truck overturned, resulting in injuries to Armen Kh. Following the incident, he was promptly transferred to the “Goris” medical center for treatment.
Much to the dismay of the driver and his company, the accident also led to significant damage. Approximately 25 million drams worth of various goods were unfortunately destroyed inside the truck.
