“Kazakhstan Steps Up Gas Supply to Germany, Exports 500 Thousand Tons of Oil in 5 Months”

Kazakhstan is set to supply Germany with over 1 ton of natural gas by the end of this year, KazMunayGas, the Kazakh national oil and gas company, announced. The country has already supplied Germany with nearly 500 thousand tons of oil in the first 5 months of this year. Vice President of KazMunayGas, Ashat Khasenov, recently met with Mark Marzilli, Vice President of Karachaganak Petroleum, to discuss the progress of a gas processing plant being constructed in the Karachaganak field, with a capacity of 4.5 billion cubic meters of gas.
