“Armenian Journalist Criticizes Authorities in Press Conference: Calls for Attention to History and Youth Demands”

Armenian journalist Artur Hovhannisian recently attended a press conference held by Andranik Kocharyan, the father of an army officer who was killed during the Artsakh war. During his speech, Hovhannisian criticized the authorities, accusing them of neglecting the rights and demands of the younger generation, who have already made great sacrifices for the Church. He also expressed concern about the diminishing importance of Armenian history in recent years. Hovhannisian emphasized the need to search for answers not only within the Church, but within the broader community as well.

In the midst of this situation, Markos Kahana Mangassarian took to his Facebook page to address the issue. He reminded young people that Armenian history stretches back thousands of years and is not limited to recent events. Mangassarian also called for the search for answers to extend beyond the Church and into their own circles.

In conclusion, the authorities should not solely rely on the Church for solutions, but should also consider the opinions and concerns of the people. This situation brings to mind the saying, “The tombstones of Moses’ seat” (Matthew 23.2). It is hoped that the head of the government’s management team will take note of the results of the Facebook opinion polls and address these issues on his own Facebook page.
