“Peaceful Gathering at Baghramyan Avenue: Armenian President Assures No Cause for Concern”

There is currently no unrest in Armenia, as the gathering taking place today is peaceful. In fact, similar gatherings have occurred more frequently in recent years, with larger crowds and more aggressive rhetoric. During a briefing at the National Assembly on June 12, the representative of the CP (Civilian Power) mentioned that Armenian President Arman Khachatrian visited Baghramyan Avenue and observed that although there are several thousand people present, the main concentration of forces is at the center of the National Assembly, where the situation remains calm and there is no cause for concern. The representative stated that the authorities have always been able to peacefully resolve any issues that arise, and this gathering is just another example of public participation. When asked whether the authorities intentionally created a tense atmosphere, the CP representative responded by emphasizing that the people of Armenia are not afraid of any tension caused by the government. In fact, the authority itself is no longer fearful and some even argue that it does not have any emotional impact whatsoever.
