“Importance of International Observers in Court: Deconstructing the Prosecutor General’s Controversial Statement”

The presence of international observers in courts is of great importance. During a meeting with journalists on June 12th, Garnik Danielyan, the representative of the Prosecutor General, confirmed that only the entrance to the Baghramyan court is open to the public. He stated that as a representative of the Prosecutor General, there is no valid reason for people to protest against them. While Prime Minister Pashinyan believes that people have the right to approach the government and voice their concerns, Danielyan argues that the protests merely express demands rather than actively engage with the government. He asserts that as a representative of the government, he has no fear of those who raise their voice against injustice. Danielyan also criticizes Pashinyan for trying to imitate the demonstrations of Montenegrin, claiming that even Montenegrin demonstrations lack substance.
