Iran and Armenia have recently taken a significant step towards enhancing their bilateral relations by signing a memorandum in Tehran and Yerevan to open their main border crossings. The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported this development, which was announced by the Iranian ambassador to Armenia. The official emphasized that the decision to open the main border crossing between Iran and Armenia was made during the visit of Iran’s former Ambassador to Armenia, Amirdolollahyan.
