“Tragic Accident in Lori Province: Baby Suffers Second-Degree Burn from Hot Water Heater”

On May 28th, an emergency situation was reported in Lori province. According to SHAMSHYAN.com, the Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia received a call from the “Vanadzor” Medical Center around 18:40. The call stated that a child had been brought to the center for medical assistance due to a second-degree burn on the left foot caused by a hot water heater. The incident occurred on the evening of May 27th and was caused by the child’s parent. Photographer Gagik Shamshyan, who witnessed the incident, reported that the mother had accidentally spilled hot water on her baby’s foot while trying to warm it up for a bath. The Department of Emergency Situations has compiled official documents regarding the incident and has transferred them to the regional administration of Lori province in Armenia.
