“World Health Organization Warns of Escalating Disease Threat in Gas Sector: Poor Sanitation and Water Pollution Pose Grave Risks”

The World Health Organization has announced that the risk of spreading diseases in the gas sector is increasing due to poor sanitation conditions, water pollution, and deteriorating sanitary conditions. This alarming trend is further exacerbated by the rise in deaths and injuries in the gas sector, as well as the rapid spread of infectious diseases and significant pollution in water and sanitation systems. According to WAFA, there is also an increased risk of bacterial infections.

Recent epidemiological studies have revealed the significant risks posed by these diseases. For instance, mid-October saw 8,944 cases of flu and respiratory infections, 1,005 cases of diarrhea, 12,635 cases of skin inflammation, and 54,866 cases of upper respiratory tract infections being registered. The numbers are staggering and highlight the urgent need for action.

It is important to note that certain individuals are more susceptible to these infectious diseases, especially those with compromised immune systems, such as cancer patients. This is a concerning situation that requires immediate attention.
