Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan recently met with Jan Minni, Chief Executive of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Pashinyan warmly welcomed Minni’s visit to Armenia and stressed the significance of cooperation with the organization. In particular, Pashinyan highlighted Armenia’s interest in expanding bilateral cooperation with the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, especially given the organization’s extensive activities in the region. This prompted Armenia to join the “Arc of Prosperity” initiative of the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

During the meeting, Jan Minni commended the comprehensive cooperation between the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and Armenia. He emphasized the importance of broadening relations with Armenia through fruitful discussions on expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.

The representatives from both sides exchanged views on the current activities of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and discussed potential cooperation prospects for the future.
