The local authorities of Vagarshapat have received reliable information that a 49-year-old resident of Haytagh village in Armavir province is keeping and cultivating marijuana on his property. On May 20, law enforcement officers conducted a search in Haytagh after verifying the information. They found a four-package and two-pound jar of medicinal substance in the possession of the 49-year-old man, who claimed that he was growing marijuana for personal use. A similar operation was conducted on May 25, where a 61-year-old resident also presented a four-package and two-pound jar of medicinal substance and claimed to be cultivating marijuana for personal use. Both cases have been presented to the Criminal Division of Vagarshapat and are currently under investigation.
