The military operation in the residential area of “Vodkhov” in the Noyemberyan district of the Republic of Armenia has concluded on April 21, 2024. The operation aimed to close an intermediate road towards the Bagratashen district and involved a group of civilians conducting destructive actions with the use of weapons. Four individuals were responsible for these actions. Investigations carried out by the Committee of Inquiry have revealed that the group of city residents violated legal boundaries and restrictions related to demarcation and delimitation, causing disruptions. Consequently, the intermediate road was closed, affecting civilian traffic. The individuals involved attempted to physically confront civilians, incited unrest, and created dangerous situations. As a result, they have been charged with hooliganism under the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. The investigation materials have been forwarded to the court for approval and further legal proceedings. Measures are being taken to identify and assess the criminal activities of the individuals involved in order to ensure legal consequences.

Attention: The individual responsible for the disturbance is considered an offender, as their actions are not justified by the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Republic of Armenia and constitute a violation of martial law regulations.
