“Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff Attends Opening of Armenian Olympic Committee’s New Office, Discusses Plans for Winter Games and Olympic Village”

The Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff, Arayik Harutyunyan, attended the opening of the new office of the Armenian Olympic Committee’s international committee. The meeting was attended by President Ishkhan Zakaryan and members from Armenia and the Diaspora. They discussed the upcoming Winter Games, the Armenian Olympic Village construction, forming a sports advisory council, scheduling television coverage, and financial accounting for the summer games. Harutyunyan expressed gratitude for the invitation and emphasized the responsibility they have to fulfill their obligations. He also mentioned the development of infrastructure for the games, including the new Arthurs Aleksanyan Sports Complex. President Zakaryan thanked the Armenian government for their support and highlighted their contribution to the games. The participants also received updates on the Vilij project, with ongoing construction work and a focus on completing the television broadcast center.
