“Financial Fallout: Strike Leaves Students and Teachers Counting the Costs”

Students at three universities and two educational institutions have suffered financial losses as a result of a strike organized by the directors and staff members. The strike, which involved protests and disruptions, has recently ended. NEWS.am reports that 86 students have been compensated a total of 18,159,000 AMD for forged documents issued by a former director of another educational institution, as well as other financial activities. During the strike period from December 2013 to May 2016, a total of 16,064,000 AMD was collected and distributed as compensation. An additional 2,095,000 AMD was used to cover fees for various student concerns, such as class payments and applications. However, there are still students who have not completed their studies and are continuing to receive compensation. The article notes that previous directors, current directors, and 23 students involved in protests at one college have faced penalties for their improper actions. Furthermore, the strike has had a significant financial impact on teachers, resulting in damages totaling 15,074,000 AMD. The article concludes by stating that a report on the strike has been sent to the court for further action.
