“Armenian President and Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Sign Historic Agreements for Mutual Cooperation and Development”

Armenian President Armen Sargsyan has signed agreements with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at his residence in Tbilisi, Georgia. According to the President’s office, Sargsyan congratulated Al Saud on becoming the first representative of the Saudi Arabian government and expressed confidence in a fruitful cooperation between the two countries. Sargsyan also highlighted the positive relations that Armenia maintains with Arab countries and their people. Armenians living in Arab countries are respected citizens and are recognized for their contributions to the development of those nations. Starting from November of this year, our countries have officially established diplomatic relations, creating numerous opportunities for collaboration in fields such as science, culture, healthcare, and technology. President Sargsyan emphasized the significance of the visit in terms of further strengthening bilateral ties. In response, Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and conveyed his well wishes to the Armenian people, expressing support for enhancing relations and pursuing projects and cooperation that benefit both countries. Both sides discussed various topics related to strengthening cooperation, resulting in plans for expanded mutual visits and cooperative efforts in fields such as the economy, trade, science, and tourism. President Sargsyan is confident that this agreement will mark the start of successful cooperation and further development between our nations.
