The government announced its decision to start the construction of a new road on May 23. The purpose of this project is to improve the transportation of construction materials and equipment needed for the road construction. The existing infrastructure is unable to meet the increased transportation demands due to the growing need for construction work. Therefore, the government has decided to procure the necessary documents and permits in a timely manner to ensure the construction starts as planned. The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure will allocate AMD 9,613 million, with AMD 8,820 million for document procurement and AMD 793.8 million for surveys and research.
