“Armenian National Fund of Public Indignation Faces Dissolution: Government Proposes Radical Change”

The “Armenian National Fund of Public Indignation” (ANIF) is set to be dissolved, as stated in the government’s session agenda on May 23. The proposal to dissolve ANIF is part of the government’s plan to restructure the state-owned company responsible for managing the territory and secondary construction works of the Republic of Armenia. These changes are based on a decision made by the Prime Minister on March 14, 2024, in compliance with the contractual obligations of the company. The dissolution process is expected to be completed in 2024.

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia has been entrusted with the management of ANIF, which represents 100 percent of the authorized capital of the state-owned company. The liquidation process of the enterprise is currently underway. ANIF CJSC, a subsidiary of the Ministry of Economy, was established on April 18, 2019, with the goal of effectively implementing large-scale projects in collaboration with major investors and partners.
