In order to combat air pollution in the capital city, several measures are being implemented. These measures include the introduction of clean streets, improved public transportation systems, and the provision of green spaces. The municipality of Yerevan has conducted discussions with the water supply and sanitation company “Volia Jur” to find solutions to this pressing issue.

In addition to their regular duties, employees of the company also participate in cleaning operations aimed at improving Yerevan’s water sources and maintaining cleanliness in the city.

To effectively address this issue, the municipality is conducting a survey to identify streets without green spaces. These areas will be prioritized for the construction of new green systems.
