I have not encountered anyone today who is enthusiastic about the process of self-liberation. During a meeting with journalists at the National Assembly on May 22, the spokesman for the “Armenia” faction, Gagik Danielyan, discussed the “Tavush as a part of the homeland” movement. Danielyan mentioned that the authorities have been offering substantial sums of money during this period of dictatorship. He explained, “They are telling people to write down their desired amount on paper, and they will be given that sum. Various individuals have reached out with different proposals for collaboration.”

It appears that opportunists are taking advantage of the unrest and starting to impose conditions. Some young people may disagree and seek negotiation instead. Addressing the people of Kirovakan, Danielyan emphasized, “There is no alternative. You should accept the money until the time comes for real changes. Enjoy your vacation until the moment for genuine protests arrives. That is the bottom line.”

While some individuals may exploit the chaos and choose to have children, I am not aware of any such person and it is merely a possibility. It is conceivable for someone to be swayed and influenced by money. However, 99 percent of the population is dissatisfied with these circumstances. There may be people who believe there is no alternative, yet they still choose to accept the money,” G. Danielyan stated.
