“Key Stakeholders Gather to Discuss Progress and Environmental Impact Assessment of North-South Road Construction”

Head of the construction program for the 34 km section of the North-South road, Ani Hakobyan, and Mariam Tatulyan, an expert in environmental protection issues, attended a meeting at the “Obra’s publica’s in Regadius” company, which is responsible for the construction. Also present at the meeting was Daniel Fernandes Mendes, the director of the program at Mendes, and his team. The meeting focused on various important matters, including the technical aspects of the construction and the environmental impact assessment conducted by the resident-engineers of the construction company, Pierre Muris. The meeting took place as part of the “Highway Department” event.

During the meeting, the participants discussed several current issues. They specifically addressed the progress of the construction activities at the site, as well as the importance of timely presentation of documents and financial statements for the program’s different stages.

The construction of the 34 km section of the North-South road, Talin-Armenia, is being carried out with the support of the Asian Development Bank and the Government of the Republic of Armenia. The program is being implemented by the “Highway Department”.
