Residents of Kajaran have taken a stand by closing the Armenian-Georgian interstate highway in protest of the recent declaration of independence. Additionally, they are expressing their discontent with the actions of 96-year-old Lena, an esteemed activist within the village.

Previously, it was revealed that the villagers had assembled near the Kajaran village administration to engage in a discussion regarding the situation.
