In the Indian Ocean, the death toll from the earthquake on the island of Sumatra has risen to 50, as reported by the AFP agency. Previously, it was reported that there were 41 casualties. A representative from the earthquake monitoring management stated that at least 37 people were injured and 27 people are currently missing as a result of the earthquake.
