In Baghlan Province, northern Afghanistan, Taliban militants have recently carried out attacks that have resulted in the death of 50 people, as reported by Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson for the Taliban movement. Mujahid also mentioned that the attacks have caused extensive damage to houses and properties in various districts. He noted that the number of casualties is still tentative and may rise, as there are many women who are currently unaccounted for.

Abdullah Janan, the representative of the local government in the fight against the Taliban insurgency, has confirmed that there have been attacks in Kabul, the capital city. He stated that rescue teams and other forms of assistance have been dispatched to the affected areas.
