“Spain’s Ambassador Meets with Armenia’s Minister to Strengthen Bilateral Relations and Foster Sports Cooperation”

The Ambassador of Spain to Armenia, Gonzalo Anastasia, recently had a meeting with Armenia’s Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport, Arayik Harutyunyan, along with Spain’s Minister of Education, Culture, and Sport, Pilar Alegría. They discussed various topics including the development of bilateral relations between Armenia and Spain, the implementation of educational programs, and questions of cooperation. Harutyunyan highlighted the ongoing reforms in Armenia’s education system, particularly the introduction of the Bologna Process and foreign languages. The meeting also addressed the management of sports and the importance of providing high-quality education for sports educators and trainers. They agreed to further collaborate in the field of sports, recognizing its role in fostering friendly relations and exchanging experiences. The meeting also touched upon the improvement of sports management in Armenia and the possibility of studying the Spanish model. Harutyunyan expressed gratitude to the Spanish side for their active participation in international sports events hosted by Armenia.
