“Red-Paint Vandals Target Tesla’s Only Factory in Europe, Prompting Intense Protests and Police Standoff”

A group of red-paint attackers has been targeting Tesla’s factory near Berlin, engaging in acts of vandalism aimed at disrupting construction. This factory, which serves as Tesla’s sole European manufacturing site, was established in the village of Grünheide in March 2022 and currently employs over 11,500 individuals. With an anticipated production capacity of nearly 250,000 vehicles annually, it is estimated that this figure could eventually reach up to 1 million units. Presently, approximately 1,200 activists representing various European regions have convened at the factory to protest the expansion plans. To draw attention to their cause, these demonstrators have adorned the factory grounds with the slogan “Capitalism is on fire, create a paradise.” In response to these actions, hundreds of police officers, including riot police, equipped with armored vehicles and water cannons, have been deployed in the vicinity of the factory to maintain order and prevent any potential breach of security.
