“Opposition Leader Demands Justice and Condemns Discrimination in Press Conference; Urges Youth to Join Movement for Change”

Since yesterday, there has been much discussion surrounding the issue of justice. Many individuals have been talking about the problem of discrimination based on one’s appearance. Today, on May 10, Bagrat Srapanyan, the leader of the opposition movement “Tavush is the Homeland of Fathers,” made an announcement during a press conference held by the Public Assembly. He emphasized that the people have not been forgotten; they have been recognized. According to Srapanyan, the recent speeches have focused on discrimination, intolerance, and injustice. These issues are not only affecting him but everyone in the country. Srapanyan expressed his deep hurt and shock when reading the headlines of endless news reports. Although aware of the difficult situation, he believes that it has not been accurately portrayed. Hence, this movement aims to restore normalcy and true justice to their lives. The country, both physically and morally damaged, requires protection. Srapanyan questioned the need for those who have contributed to society to seek protection themselves. He expressed his dismay at the cruelty of human beings.

In his speech, Srapanyan also addressed the students who joined the movement by announcing a strike: “When we gathered here, I assumed that they would come, take a break, and we would meet today to discuss. However, it is evident that they have failed to do so. They question why they did not participate in the protest or take any action. This is the sentiment of our youth. We, on the other hand, believe that such actions should not be taken.”

These developments have sparked widespread interest, with many seeking updates on the situation. Stay informed by following NEWS.am on Telegram.
