On the morning of May 9, the military band “Yerablur” paid a visit to the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Samvel Sahramanyan. Accompanying him were members of the Artsakh Government, representatives of the National Assembly of Artsakh, and spiritual leaders, who offered their condolences. However, Sahramanyan did not respond to questions from reporters. May 9 has long been observed as a memorial day for the Armenian people, commemorating the victory of the Allied powers in World War II, the heroic struggle of the people of Artsakh, the establishment of the Artsakh defense, and the Liberation Day of Shushi in 1992. It is worth noting that Shushi encountered significant damage during the 44-day war in November 2020 in Artsakh.
