On May 8th at 11:01, the Emergency Management Center received a national alert regarding smoke coming from a building on Avoyan Street in Yerevan.

The Rescue Service of the MES reported to NEWS.am that two firefighting units, along with a gas protection vehicle and a technical maintenance vehicle, were dispatched to the scene.

It has been confirmed that the fire originated in the kitchen of an apartment within the Avoyan Street buildings.

The fire was successfully extinguished at 11:47 and completely put out at 12:22. It caused damage to property and electrical equipment within a 15-square-meter area of the kitchen.
