“Armenian Students Speak Out Against Demarcation and Delimitation in Peace Process: Emphasize Need for Clearer Borders”

The demarcation and delimitation process are being implemented after successful negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. During a speech on May 8th, Greta Sahakyan, a student representing the NDT, emphasized that while they are striving for peace through this process, it is not a diplomatic solution but rather a step towards achieving peace. She pointed out that there are still unclear borders with neighboring country Georgia, highlighting the need for clarity in border disputes.

Reacting to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s statement that this process will bring an end to the war, the student criticized that the process should also focus on establishing an agreement with Azerbaijan. Another student emphasized that they do not support any political group but are concerned about the security of their country. They emphasized the importance of the youth remaining strong and fighting for the victory of their homeland.
