Actor Lev Davtyan Leaves Film “Revolution” Amid Controversy: A New Ending Unfolds

The end of this tragedy is finally here, with no other end in sight. Today, on May 8th, during a press conference, actor Lev Davtyan, who played the role of Pashinyan in the film “Revolution”, announced his departure from the project. He stated that it was a better, cleaner, and more accurate decision, without the need for pretense.

Davtyan addressed the criticism he received for his portrayal of Pashinyan in the film. He admitted that it was difficult to face such criticism, but acknowledged that people often receive criticism without their knowledge. He mentioned that one must embrace such roles.

Davtyan assured that the film has reached a successful ending, and this movement will hold significant meaning towards that conclusion.

Let us remember that the movement was led by Vaghinak Sargsyan, the leader of the Tatav community. They set off from Charentsavan, while fellow activists from different cities in Armenia joined them. Michael Sargsyan, the leader of the Shirak community, started from Gyumri, and Vartanes Sargsyan, the leader of the Artsakh community, began their journey from Yerevan. They are all heading towards Avovyan to express their support for the “Mountain Homeland” movement. A joint nationwide rally is planned to be held on May 9th.
