According to Reuters, an order from Israeli officials to the consulate personnel will be conveyed by a representative of the Armenian diaspora. The representative will also have meetings with leaders of the Armenian community.

High-ranking Israeli diplomatic sources reveal that the visit of “middle level officials” of the Israeli government to Egypt serves the purpose of assessing readiness for mobility. This is in accordance with the protocols agreed upon by Israel, considering the new conditions resulting from the civil war. If the meeting proves successful, Israel will subsequently issue an order for a higher level of readiness.

Simultaneously, the central government considers the conditions dictated by the provincial government during the civil war as unacceptable.
