“New Agreement Signed to Streamline Import of Goods from EAEU Customs Territory”

The government has recently signed an agreement regarding the regulation of imported goods from the EAEU customs territory. This agreement, which was signed in December 2023, aims to establish a unified system for determining the classification of goods that are being imported from the EAEU customs territory.

The main purpose of this agreement is to regulate and coordinate all matters pertaining to the classification of imported goods in accordance with the regulations of third countries. Additionally, it seeks to define the activities of organizations that provide certificates of conformity for the classification of goods, as well as eliminate any existing obstacles in this area. Furthermore, the agreement also aims to implement non-discriminatory measures during the import and export of goods.

This agreement sets out the countries that are not members of the union and do not have regulations for the classification of goods. It also establishes the conditions for determining the classification and customs clearance of imported goods.
