Youth Palace of Yerevan Metro Shines Bright with Energy-Saving Lighting Renovation

The external and internal lighting of the Youth Palace in the Yerevan metro has undergone significant improvements, utilizing green energy and energy-saving infrastructure. Additionally, the stones have been thoroughly cleaned, as no major repairs have been done in over a decade. The announcement was made by Mayor Tigran Avinyan during a recent meeting of the Yerevan City Council’s executive body on April 29.

Mayor Avinyan emphasized the importance of giving special attention to the lighting of the Youth Palace, emphasizing that it has been completely rehabilitated both externally and internally. The construction works were carried out during non-rush hours to minimize disruption to commuters. During this period, a total of 510,692 passengers were transported, with a total of 2,858 trips made, including 556 three-car trains, 1,330 two-car trains, and 972 one-car trains. The expected passenger transportation is 514,267, resulting in an impressive implementation rate of 99.3%.
