The July 2024 US President-elect, Jill Stein, faced a boycott by students during her visit to a university, as stated in her press release. According to the announcement on X social network’s news, Stein, along with her campaign manager Jason Cole and vice presidential running mate Kelly Merril-Kaye, was boycotted at Saint Lucian Washington University. The protest was aimed at highlighting the university’s connection with the War of Gas. Stein’s campaign manager informed Fox News that around 100 people confronted Stein during the protest. The organizers, who placed signs in front of the university, demanded that the university cease its participation in Boeing’s production, which produces weapons used in what they believe to be an ongoing genocide of the Gas population. Stein’s campaign manager expressed support for the students’ demands and their protest.
