“Over 200 Violations Recorded in Armenia: Transport Committee Releases Startling Activity Report”

According to activity reports from the State Committee of Transport, Communications, and Information Technologies of the Republic of Armenia, between April 26-29, there were 201 cases of violation.

Specifically, violations related to the use of transportation facilities without a license accounted for 42 cases. Additionally, there were 26 cases of physical violence, 24 cases of bodily harm, 16 cases of discovery of explosives, 10 cases of personal property damage and theft, 9 cases of hooliganism, 7 cases of psychological violence, 5 cases of drug use and possession, 4 cases of goods destruction or theft, 3 cases of robbery, official abuse, illegal possession of weapons or ammunition, violation of personal freedom, endangerment or abuse of a child’s life or health, or failure to fulfill requirements for property preservation or use, 2 cases of burglary, intentional destruction of property, failure to fulfill scientific obligations by a healthcare worker, disposal of waste, non-observance of working standards by a specialist, or violation of established conditions, and 1 case of domestic violence, intentional concealment or dissemination of information about a crime, improper performance of official duties, or abuse of power.

There have been 7 reported complaints or requests, with 5 respondents. Of the previous cases of violation, 2 were related to domestic violence and 1 to attempted domestic violence.

During the 3-day period, there were 28 recorded road accidents in the country, resulting in 5 deaths and 47 injuries of varying degrees.
