The National Assembly, chaired by Ararat Mirzoyan, held a session on April 29 to discuss and make decisions on the agenda for the upcoming eighth session. They also touched upon the agenda for the ordinary sessions of the standing committees. As part of these discussions, Ruben Rubinyan was appointed by the speaker to coordinate the work of the standing committees. Additionally, Arsen Torosyan will replace Gevorg Papoyan as a representative of the “Civil Contract” faction in the standing committee on health care. In the meeting of the ad hoc committee on inter-parliamentary cooperation between the National Assembly of Armenia and the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the proposal to replace Mher Melkonyan with Levon Kocharyan as the alternate representative was rejected. Lastly, some changes were made to the composition of the friendly parliamentary groups of the National Assembly.
