“Deadly Shooting Spree Rocks Central US: Child Among Victims Near Oklahoma Walmart”

At least two people, including a child, were killed and four others were injured in a shooting incident near an Oklahoma Walmart, according to AP, citing law enforcement authorities. Reports have emerged about shootings across ten towns in the US central region, including Oklahoma City, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, and Texas. Law enforcement agencies are issuing warnings about these shootings. Late on Saturday night, a gunman attacked a Walmart in Holdenville, a town with a population of about 5,000 near Oklahoma City. Holdenville is approximately 128.75 km away from Oklahoma City.

The Department of Homeland Security has declared a state of emergency in twelve counties. Emergency personnel have been working to clean up the affected areas and evaluate the damage caused by the powerful storms that have resulted in numerous power outages.

As of Sunday morning, approximately 33,000 customers were left without power in Oklahoma City due to electrical grid disruptions. In addition, more than 67,000 customers are currently without electricity in Texas.

These tragic incidents serve as a reminder of the need for increased vigilance and improved security measures to ensure the safety of our communities.
