In a press conference held yesterday, representatives of the protesters and citizens expressed their dissatisfaction with the government’s implementation of the peace agreement. The conference, published by the RA Ministry of Defense, stated that some military personnel had violated discipline by carrying out separate mandatory duties of civilian authorities in addition to their military obligations. Asatur Chobanyan, speaking on behalf of the military personnel, denied the allegations and emphasized their role in protecting public order. Similarly, soldier Felix Baghdumyan emphasized that their presence with reporters had no political motive. The Ministry of Defense had previously issued a statement condemning any military involvement in political processes.
