“Armenia and Italy Forge Stronger Defense Ties During Official Visit”

The head of Armenia’s National Security Council, Karen Brutyan, recently embarked on an official visit to Italy from April 23-25. This visit was undertaken at the invitation of General Luciano Portolano, the Secretary of the National Security Council and Chief of Security and Defense. Accompanying Brutyan were Matteo Peregono di Cremnago, the Chief of the Cabinet of the Secretary of National Security, and Joseph Cosseyga, who heads International, Security, and Defense Cooperation in Confederal Euzone. Throughout the visit, discussions were held regarding military collaboration, defense technology, and defense industry cooperation between Armenia and Italy. According to the Ministry of Defense, several agreements were successfully reached during this productive visit.
