Today, a traditional procession was held in the village of Akhalkalak in Javakhk, organized by the Patriotic Union of Javakhk. The procession started from the Akhalkalaki Berd-amrotsi.

The participants of the procession held banners in Armenian and Russian, with slogans such as “The struggle continues”, “I remember and demand”, “The end of the Turkish genocidal policy” and other demands in support of the rights of the Armenian people.

The procession was led by Archpriest Narek Kahana Tigranyan from the Surb Khach Church of Akhalkalak.

It is worth mentioning that the procession reached the memorial stone in the backyard of the Surb Khach Church of Akhalkalak, where the memory of the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide is perpetuated, and it is called the symbol of faith.

It was emphasized during the speeches that the symbol of faith in the Surb Khach Church of Akhalkalak was in line with the demands of the Patriotic Union of Javakhk. The event was organized with the spiritual guidance of Archpriest Narek Kahana Tigranyan.
