“International Court of Justice Examines Evidence of Ethnographic Manipulation Claims in First Karabakh War”

Yesterday, it was revealed that a hidden operation, known as the “ethnographic program,” was being carried out by multiple individuals with the aim of distorting the history of the First Karabakh War, which ended 30 years ago today. Today, on April 24, lawyer Lourence Martin presented the Armenian government’s request concerning the court’s decision deadline at the International Court of Justice of the ICC.

The lawyer stated, “Yesterday, the professor mentioned that the ethnographic program, which has been ongoing for three decades, cannot be considered complete until September 1996. This has also been affirmed by his colleagues, international experts, and various stakeholders in the conflict.”

However, their claims were contradicted by their partners, as Azerbaijan firmly denies the allegations of ethnographic manipulation. Azerbaijan emphasizes that the ongoing debate revolves around the forced migration and ethnic cleansing of population groups due to certain geopolitical considerations.

“Based on the two ICC resolutions, once the population of a territory has been evacuated and everyone has left, ethnographic manipulation is considered complete. While the consequences may persist, the act itself is considered concluded,” explained the lawyer.

The lawyer further contended that the court should not admit documents that have been tampered with by Azerbaijan, as they contain alternative facts and do not include independent expert opinions on the matter of ethnographic manipulation.
