On April 24, an accident occurred in the Gegharkunik province of Armenia. The Inner Affairs Department of the RA Police received a report at 03:55 that a car was on fire in a building in the 5th microdistrict of Sevan city. At the same time, the National Crisis Management Center of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations received another report that a car was on fire near the “Cheki Khanut” area.

Fortunately, there were no casualties reported as a result of the incident. The owner of the car, in an interview with a website, stated that the vehicle caught fire spontaneously and he immediately informed the authorities. However, he expressed concern that this was not the first time his car had been deliberately damaged by unknown individuals.

According to him, there have been multiple incidents where unidentified individuals have targeted him and caused damage to his car. While evidence was discovered by the authorities of Sevan and transferred to the investigative department, no effective investigation has been carried out so far. The car owner hopes that the authorities will take this incident seriously and conduct a thorough investigation to identify the culprits and ensure justice.
