“Armenian Community Demands Justice: Tbilisi Protest Marks 109th Anniversary of Armenian Genocide near Turkish Embassy”

In Tbilisi, the representatives of the Armenian community recently gathered to commemorate the 109th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. According to Aliq.ge, they held a demonstrative protest near the Turkish embassy, emphasizing their demand for recognition and justice.

Additionally, the civic organization known as the “Armenian Community of Georgia” organized a separate protest. During this event, various exhibits were showcased, including images depicting the atrocities of the 1915 genocide and recent acts of violence that have afflicted the territory of Artsakh since 2020. These displays served as a powerful reminder of the ongoing tragedy endured by the Armenian people.

Such commemorations and protests are essential for keeping the memory of the Armenian Genocide alive and ensuring that the world remains aware of the unjust suffering endured by the Armenian population. It is through these collective efforts that a call for recognition and justice echoes far beyond the borders of Georgia.
