Warehouse worker Gendapet Mikhran Maksudyan, who is actively involved in the demarcation process of 4 settlements in Tavush, was summoned to the military prosecutor’s office today, April 23. He received the summons yesterday and has already left for Yerevan today.

It is important to note that the border between the community of Kirants in the Tavush region and Azerbaijan has been closed for several days. The announcement by the representative office of the plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia, Mher Grigoryan, stated that this closure is related to the ongoing work on demarcation and delimitation with Azerbaijan. Grigoryan also published a map indicating that a certain section of Kirants should fall under Azerbaijan’s influence.

Moreover, it should be noted that in Voskepar, the court previously prohibited the militarization of the territory near a 7th-century church. However, after the area was liberated, it came under the jurisdiction of Azerbaijan’s prefecture.
