“Incidents Escalate in Yerevan: Three Injured in Clash Between Officers and Civilians”
On February 29, there were incidents in Yerevan. At around 22:50 in the Erebuni division of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, there was a clash between a group of people in the Nubarashen administrative district. Three individuals were injured during the incident, according to Shamshyan.com.
The reason for the clash between the officers and civilians is still unclear. However, it has been confirmed that the injured individuals were quickly transferred from the “Surp Astvatsamayr” medical center to the Erebuni district of Yerevan.
The hospital has stated that the surgeries are still under investigation, and no further information can be disclosed at this time. Before being transported to the hospital, the injured individuals received emergency assistance from doctors. It has been confirmed that they are residents of the Nubarashen district, including 21-year-old Manvel H., 21-year-old Samuel P., and 24-year-old Artur G.
Initially, these individuals were at the Erebuni medical center and later transferred to the “Surp Astvatsamayr” medical center, where their lives are not in danger.
There are conflicting testimonies from both the officers and civilians regarding the incident, including the location where it took place. According to the information provided on the website, yesterday at around 20:30, Samuel H., a resident of the 11th street in Nubarashen, stopped driving his car. Around 21:00, a conflict between the parties escalated on the 9th street of Nubarashen, where a crowd had gathered for a car race. Subsequently, at around 22:00, an argument broke out at the 130th building of the 6th street of Nubarashen, involving Samuel H., Armav H., Samuel P., and Artur G. During the argument, Samuel H. sustained injuries.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
