“Lake Sevan Water Level on the Rise: Increased by 2 cm in Just One Week”

The water level of Lake Sevan increased by 2 cm from April 15-21, reaching a height of 1900.30 meters (as of April 24). This measurement is 6 cm lower than the water level on the same day last year, but 13 cm higher than the level at the start of 2024. The Institute of Hydrological and Meteorological Monitoring shared this information with NEWS.am.

Within the period of April 15-21, Lake Sevan’s water volume reached a total of 11.917 billion cubic meters. From January 1 to April 21, 2024, the lake recorded an overall volume of 48.927 billion cubic meters.
