“Catastrophic Car Crash Claims Life of Teacher and Shakes Nation”

Yesterday, on April 21st, a major and tragic car accident occurred in the Ararat province. At approximately 22:00, a 15-year-old resident of Ararat named Gagik V. was driving a “BMW” vehicle when he collided with a pedestrian on the Artaşatyan Bridge in the village of Azatavan. According to photographer Gagik Shamshyan, the vehicles involved in the accident were found in the Azat River, with the “BMW” suffering severe damage.

As a result of the accident, Gagik V., the driver of the “BMW,” and his passenger, 61-year-old Hakob H. from Ararat, were immediately taken to the Artaşat Medical Center. Unfortunately, Hakob H. succumbed to his injuries sustained in the accident, as reported by G. Shamshyan. The Ararat provincial police department has launched an investigation into this tragic incident.

The medical staff at the hospital worked tirelessly to save the lives of the injured individuals. Meanwhile, preparations were made to transfer Hakob H.’s body to the forensic center of the National Bureau of Expertises of the Ministry of Justice. In a heartwarming act, the students of the 9th-grade classroom of School No. 1 in Artaşat, where Hakob H. was a teacher, gathered outside the hospital to honor the birthday of the “BMW” driver. The hospital staff and doctors in Artaşat expressed their condolences to the grieving friends and family of the deceased driver. Witnesses stated that some parents of the deceased child attempted to confront the driver’s relatives but were restrained by the police.

This tragic incident has deeply affected the entire country, leaving everyone shocked and devastated.
