“Armenian Prime Minister’s Crucial Decision on National Security Agreement Could Shape Country’s Future, Says Organization Head”

The decision of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to participate or not participate in the National Security Agreement (NSA) organizing committee in 2024 will have a significant impact on the internal political situation in his country. This announcement was made by Tasmakambet Imangali, the Chief of Staff and head of the organization. Imangali emphasized that Pashinyan’s involvement in the NSA will determine both his own and the country’s future. It is worth noting that the committee has yet to be formed, and there is a possibility of changes in the coming months.

In recent years, Yerevan has withdrawn from various international integration formats, including the NSA held in Minsk in 2023. Pashinyan made it clear that the country has also temporarily suspended its participation in the organization.
