In Washington, D.C. last week, high-level meetings were held between the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB). The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation between Armenia’s financial authorities and international partners. Key participants included the Deputy Governor of the CBA, Nerses Yeretsian, the Vice President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Odile Renaud-Basso, the Head of the Middle East and Central Asia Department of the IMF, Jihad Azour, the Head of the European Investment Bank (EIB), the Treasurer of the US Department of the Treasury, and representatives of the International Monetary Corporation.

One of the main topics of discussion during the meetings was bilateral cooperation in the cultural sector, digital solutions, and technology, as well as the current socio-economic developments and reforms in Armenia, which were addressed by the Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan. Additionally, meetings were also held with representatives from the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Germany, and Slovenia to discuss ongoing projects and the role of partner countries.
