The civil defense groups of Parastina, Gasayi Khan June, have released concerning statistics regarding the city’s pandemic situation. According to a report by Al Jazeera, a total of 180 cases have been identified.

This announcement comes after the Israeli military forces withdrew from the city’s neighborhoods on April 7. Khan June, which has endured prolonged conflicts and intense demonstrations, is now facing a grave crisis.

“In this alarming report, the medical staff and healthcare professionals at the hospital have identified 180 cases, including Israeli military personnel. There have been casualties, including children and youth,” stated Hanin Mahmoud, a correspondent for the television channel.
