On April 15, the National Commission on Forensics of the Republic of Armenia received a report regarding the tragic death of Karine M., a 51-year-old woman who was hit by a car on Malxasyan Street in Yerevan. The driver responsible for the accident fled the scene, leaving the victim behind. The investigation into this incident is still ongoing.

According to a report by NEWS.am, it has been revealed that through the operational and investigative efforts of the Arabkir Police Department, the authorities have identified the driver involved in the hit-and-run. The suspect, a 29-year-old resident of Yerevan, was driving a car with a “Dodge” emblem at the time of the incident.

The investigation into this tragic event is still ongoing, and the authorities are actively pursuing leads to bring justice to the victim and hold the responsible party accountable.
